Baronesa P. is a selection of the finest micro-terroirs, selected over a period of several years based on experience and understanding of these soils and vineyards. Over many years and after producing countless batches, they refined their selection to create this cuvée in honor of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild.   trade

This is a new, prestige wine from the Rothschild family (Mouton) that shows complexity and strength yet at the same time polish and poise. It’s full-bodied, but very layered and refined with fine layers of concentrated tannins and a blackberry-cedar-black pepper undertones and dark fruit. This needs three or four years to come together. 18 months French oak. Great superb release in 2020_the driest vintage in 40 years.  84% cabernet sauvignon, 9% carmenere and equal measures of syrah, each 5% cabernet franc and petit verdot. Riffaud
