GROWER DIRECT WINES

The current owner of  Château Crillon,  the Duke of Grammont, is the direct descendant of Louis Berton de Crillon  (1541-1615),  nicknamed  "Crillon le Brave“ who was described by Henry IV, King of France, as the "greatest captain of the world ".  He lived in Avignon and in the village of Crillon. He liked to go back there to taste the delicious wine from his stately property. Vines surround the medieval castle.  winery

Beautiful shiny and dense robe, garnet red. This wine expresses vanilla aromas and evolves on spicy notes.    The palate is frank and delicately peppery, the wine reveals very clear and very fond tannins. A perfectly balanced wine with an unforgettable freshness on the finish.   trade
