This is a new, prestige wine from the Rothschild family (Mouton) that shows complexity and strength yet at the same time polish and poise. It’s full-bodied, but very layered and refined with fine layers of concentrated tannins and a blackberry-cedar-black pepper undertones and dark fruit. This needs three or four years to come together. 18 months French oak. Great superb release in 2020_the driest vintage in 40 years. 84% cabernet sauvignon, 9% carmenere and equal measures of syrah, each 5% cabernet franc and petit verdot. Riffaud
