The 2015 Chateau des Laurets is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It has outstanding aromatics with unctuous black fruit, black plum and dark cherry. Sweet baking spices wrap around the well layered and nuanced finish. Youthful tannins seem to last on the palate for minutes. Dry and earthy, the wine also has mild accents of vanilla emerge on the palette. Extremely balanced for such a big, powerful vintage. winery
